• Single-phase charging cables for max. 7.4 kW/32 A are generally used for charging a hybrid vehicle at home – A cable length of 10 meters is suitable for variable and hard to reach charging stations
• For charging outdoors, the charging cable complies with protection class IP55 (water jet-proof), which means that a secure connection is possible between charging station and charging socket (charging inlet)
• Spiral cables draw together on their own and remain clean for longer compared to straight vehicle charging cables, since they do not hang down to the ground or only hang down partially when charging the vehicle battery
• Thanks to IEC type 2 plug and jack (EU standard IEC 62196-2), the mode 3 cable can be used at nearly any charging station and wallbox in Europe to charge electric cars and other electric vehicles

The DIGITUS DK-1P32-S-100 car charging cable allows you to easily connect any vehicle with type 2 plug to public charging stations or wallboxes with charging socket. The type 2 charging cables are certified according to EN 62196-1:2014, EN 62196-2:2017 and protection class IP55.
